As part of the fight against Covid-19, health measures at the borders are being reinforced and may in particular require a virological screening test (for example PCR test) depending on your country of origin, transit or destination before your departure and/or before your return.

Sanitary conditions are generally good in China, but don't forget to check all the necessary formalities before departure.
Vaccinations recommended:
Diphtheria
Polio
Tetanus
Hepatitis A and B
Typhoid
Yellow fever (this vaccination is mandatory if you arrive in China from an area where yellow fever is endemic).
Meningitis A & C is recommended for regions closed to Mongolia.
Rabies and japanese encephalitus.
Mosquitos can transmit certain viruses and parasitic diseases, so you are strongly advised to use tropical mosquito repellents for skin and clothing.
Risk of the most dangerous form of malaria (falciparum) means that serious prevention is necessary (chemoprophylaxis and mosquito repellents).
As a preventive measure against bird flu, you are advised not to visit bird markets and zoos. Also, tap water in China is not drinking water, we recommend you drink mineral water.
