Good visit, but not great
This was my first time skiing in the Alps. The Club Med was very good in terms of the room, service, and dining experience. The mountains are beautiful, and the snow great for skiing. The challenge was that there were too many people on the slopes and a lack of instruction on the first day about what to do if I lost my guide and group, which I did. It was difficult to find help and figure out the way back to the hotel. Others had similar experiences with losing their guide at some point during the week. Val Thorens is gorgeous but just too crowded.

Great
Really enjoyed the process. The staff and food are great. The hotel is well located and the resort is ideal for red and blue skiers
The lessons, however, were a complete mess. First day 20+ students in each class and three different instructors - We didnt bother in the end, which is a shame, as it was an important bit of the booking.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Just arrived in Club med from Florida and I went to the 4th floor and it was an amazing experience watching the Show drinking Genepis all night long dancing and having fun . the team from the ski room very friendly. And the Snow amazing . Went to gourmet to eat the traditional Fondue with Morels accompanied with Some white wine that was recommended by the waiter Enea hilal and the assistant Victor who made us feel welcomed with their hospitality and their smiles . Excellent experience I would recommend to everybody ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Party of 8 men
Flying to Chambery was really great. ( I think this was the first time I’ve ever used this airport).
The flight was on time both ways and roughly 1 hour 40. There was no hassle with immigration or luggage and the minibus trip was only c90 minutes.
The other big plus was everyone went into ski school , most for the first time and found having a guide really useful. Particularly on the poor weather days. This made everyone very keen to stick with club Med for 2026.
The Club was as expected. Great having no toddlers. Boot room at busy times is overcrowded and lockers did not work properly for first 24 hours. Queues at the bar also get very slow at busy times and would benefit with extra staff.
Overall an excellent holiday
